Registering your CV is one of the most efficient and simple things you can do. This should be your fist priority if you have not already done it.
If you have already done this, then go back to it and complete all the fields! A lot of people just attach their CV and think that this will do. What people forget is that their laziness is actually working against them.
Let me explain!
When employers and recruiters search through CVs they search on keywords and/or key phrases. These words or phrases need to be in the fields or the search system wont have anything to search on and won’t include your CV in the results.
Remember these tools can NOT search the content of the document you have attached.
So go to your CV now. Open the attachment and copy and past the info into the fields and make sure you attach a word document CV as well.
